The RCS-510B camera uses a miniature high resolution Y-C format
camera, a
precision non-browning right angle correcting prism, and extensive lead
shielding to achieve a high radiation tolerance of 3.0 x 104 rad/hour and a
total accumulated dose tolerance of 1.2 x 106 rads with a 1 MEV source.
A 22-90mm zoom lens with non-browning optics and a very short near focal
distance of 10 inches makes the RCS-510B camera ideal for close-up detail color
inspections in a high radiation field.
The stainless steel housing is sealed for underwater use up to 150 feet.
Modular construction is utilized throughout for easy replacement of the camera,
lens, prism assembly, or underwater connector.
