ZOOM COLOR TV CAMERA
The RCS-3120 Underwater Zoom Color TV Camera offers very small size, high resolution, high sensitivity, and a 216:1 zoom range incorporating both an 18:1 optical zoom range with an additional 12:1 electronic zoom. The optical zoom range provides full resolution with a horizontal in-air field of view range from 48 degrees to 2.8 degrees.
Underwater, the horizontal field ranges from 35.6 degrees to 2.1 degrees. In the zoom-in position, the full resolution underwater horizontal field size at 20 feet distance is 0.73 feet.
The camera is supplied with a high resolution (greater than 670 TV lines) S-video format. It features remote zoom control, automatic or remote focus control, and automatic iris control. It also has an improved operating temperature range of -5 to 60 degrees centigrade. The camera housing is fabricated of 300 series stainless steel, utilizes a non-browning fused silica viewing window, and is rated for underwater operation to 200 feet.
